Agency Announcements
Marilee Wright announced that she has taken a new position with the Mental Health Center of Champaign County; she is the Caregiver Connections/Healthy Families Supervisor.
Old Business
Minutes for March were approved.
Becci Cline reported for Child and Family Connections. She distributed statistics for Champaign County. She distributed flyers for upcoming trainings, including “Understanding and Defining Attachment & Infant Mental Health: Overview Issues and Strategies” with John Roope.
The current child find project will reach an estimated 10,000 children in Champaign County. They will receive screening information through their child care providers. We will provide information to Family Child Care Homes, Daycare Centers and other local agencies that provide services to children and families.
New Business:
The council discussed proposed spending; the council approved spending for advertisement in a local publication, Central Illinois Families, as well as supporting United Way of Champaign County’s annual kindergarten readiness calendar.

The next meeting is scheduled for May 17, 2007 from 8:45-9:45 at Mental Health Center of Champaign County at 1801 Fox Dr. in Champaign.
