Agency Announcements

MaryAnne Wilson reported that the grant writing workshop was very successful and distributed feedback collected from participants.

Old Business

Minutes from September were approved.

Becci Cline reported for Child and Family Connections. She distributed statistics for Champaign County. She also distributed information on upcoming trainings in the area being offered by CFC 16.

Council discussed and made recommendations for the 2006-2007 budget. The council will vote on approval in November.

New Business:

The council discussed ways of encouraging other local service providers to conduct and report developmental screenings. The survey will be distributed via mail to all council members.

A breakfast meeting is being planned for December. The council will invite local service providers to discuss how to better facilitate screening the children in their care.

Next Meeting

The next meeting is scheduled for November 16, 2006 from 8:45-9:45 at Mental Health Center of Champaign County at 1801 Fox Dr. in Champaign.
