Old Business

  • Mark Driscoll and Bette Chapman discussed the updates to the By-Laws. Mark D. questioned whether or not the council wanted to adopt by-laws before the CFC transition. Mary Anne Wilson asked the committee to add advocacy to the Vision Statement. There was some concern regarding the number of hours identified for the LIC Coordinator in Article V: Section I. The council decided to strike the wording of 7.5 hours per week in Article V: Section I. Mark D. will work on the changes discussed today for the next meeting.
  • Terry Goode will be contacting Jim Danteno at Cross Point to invite him to the next meeting.
  • The council viewed the website (ccbirthto5.org) with the assistance of Dianne Rothenberg. She presented the council with website updates. She also discussed adding links to all LIC’s in the state and newsletters from various community agencies such as the Health Families Newsletter. The Public Awareness Committee will pull together links and bring them to the next meeting. The target date for the website to go live is June 10, 2004. By June 24, the Council needs an estimated cost of the website to complete the budget. Dianne Rothenberg will be touching base with Mary Anne Wilson and Terry Goode on a weekly basis.
  • Terry Goode handed out the updated budget and discussed it briefly. No other changes submitted.
