The Equipment Loan Program
The Equipment Loan Program is a free service for families with children birth to 5 years of age who have special needs. The program offers therapeutic devices aimed to help foster children's development and growth. Families use the equipment at home or at the child's program/school.
When the need for the equipment is identified, the family or therapist calls the Early Childhood and Parenting Collaborative at the University of Illinois (217-333-4123 or toll-free 875-275-3227) to begin the process. There is a simple step-by-step procedure for receiving the equipment. This will be sent to the family by mail along with notification that the equipment is available.
This catalogue contains pictures and descriptions of the equipment currently in the inventory. It will be periodically updated as equipment is purchased or donated to the program.
